- After a mix of rain and snow overnight, plenty of rain will fall today with temperatures pushing up into the mid 40s.
- Business owners and professionals are invited to the East Providence Lunch Referral Chapter of the SBR Network at 11:45 am at Davenport's Restaurant, 1925 Pawtucket Ave.
- The East Bay Community Action Program, 100 Bullocks Point Ave., offers free tax assistance each day running from 9 am to 3 pm. Program qualifying income is $51,000 and below.
- Children in grades 1 to 5 are invited to "Bookies" in the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., from 3:45 to 4:45 pm; kids will read and act out great stories, tell jokes, make crafts, eat snacks, play games, and more!
- Drop in and knit or crochet in the program room at the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., from 6:30 to 8 pm; there will be plenty of time to chat and meet your neighbors as well.
