5 Things to Know About Today

Expect more rain today with temperatures reaching into the low 50s; skies will be be mostly cloudy tonight as showers move out.

Triton Swimming offers group exercise for intermediate and advanced swimmers every Tuesday at 5:30 am at the Boys & Girls Club of East Providence.

The East Providence Lunch Referral Chapter by the SBR Network hosts a session at Davenport’s restaurant, 1925 Pawtucket Ave., for business owners and professional to make new contacts; no reservations needed, just stop by a 11:45 am.

Learn to draw each Tuesday at 12:30 pm at the East Providence Senior Center, 610 Waterman Ave. Beginners to advanced for a $5 fee. 

Elementary-age students can learn to make create art with recycled materials -- a program titled Recycled Creations -- every third Tuesday of the month at the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.
