5 Things to Know About Today

Here are five things you should know about today in East Providence:
- Weather will be generally sunny today despite some clouds in the afternoon and temperatures only reaching into the high 20s.
- Rhode Islanders United for Marriage will host a "community meeting" on the state's marriage equality bill at the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., at 6 pm.
- Every Thursday after school is “Teen Thursday” at Weaver Library; there are laptops, music, Wii, games, and crafts from 3 to 5 pm.
- The East Providence Recreation Center, 100 Bullocks Point Ave., offers a stretch class from 5 to 6 pm. Fee is $5 per class. Register at 401-433-6360.
- The East Providence Recreation Center also offers line dancing for beginners from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. To register, call the Recreation Center at 433-6360.
