Celebrate Black History Tonight

A Celebration of Black History takes place today at 6 pm in the East Providence City Hall.

 

A Black History Month celebration takes place tonight, Feb. 13, in City Hall.

This “family-friendly” event will include a performance by the East Providence Children’s Choir, readings by poets, and a display of artwork and memorabilia.

The event starts at 6 pm in the Council Chambers. It is sponsored by the Office of Affirmative Action. 

The celebration is free and open to anyone. Light refreshments will be served.
