Have you spied florescent pink birds peeping up from East Providence lawns?

On Saturday night, 48 flocks landed across the city, according to organizer Caroline Sadowski. Part of the annual Flamingo Fundraiser to support the 2012 East Providence High School post-prom event, April Fool's Day marked the first full day of their arrival.

For only $10, send a flock of lawn flamingos to a friend. Businesses can "flock" each other for $20. Sales start continue through April.

Order online at ephspostprom.com or download the form to mail in with check or money order. You may also order in person at EPHS or East Providence Prevention Coalition Room 310 City Hall. Sponsored by EPHS, PTSA and EPPC.

A fun fundraiser that we look forward to every year. Those with a sense of humor appreciate it best. It's a great way to help keep the senior graduating safe after the prom at a post event loaded with something for everyone.

Thanks to all EP residents for your suppprt.

When you find a packing company that interests you, send them a letter or give them a telephone call with your recipe idea and your proposal. If they like you and you like them, you might have just sold your recipe. Good luck, and who knows, maybe we'll be seeing your name on food products in grocery stores everywhere someday. Thanks a lot.
