Police Track Source of Bullet Shot Through Woman's Living Room

The bullet was shot from the direction of Hatton Street.

An Evergreen Avenue woman got quite the scare on New Year's Day after a bullet shot through the side wall of her apartment, hitting a flower vase and lodging itself in a wooden support beam.

Angelina Medeiros was watching television at approximately 6:45 p.m. when she heard a loud pop and saw smoke coming from the side wall. She looked outside after the shot was fired, but didn't see anyone.

"I'm very shook up, very nervous," she said according to WPRI reports.
