Rollie was a great man. He was a staple and landmark in Rumford for years. He sharped my son's skates for years. Many times we couldn't even get in his door without a wait. He was so talented with his skill. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Thanks Rollie, you kept the edge on for so many. Today all of hockey is a little sadder.
From the mighy mites right on up to the pros, you were a friend to all. A visit to you was like going to a family member's home. Rest easy old friend.

Just learned about this today. I'm been going to Rollie since way back when I started playing hockey in my teens when he had a skate-shop in the Dudley Richards ice skating arena that is now Skates USA. I'm going to miss you buddy. Going to miss talking about Corvettes with you. :(
