Thursday: Heritage Days Festival, Meet Middle East Student Leaders
Here are five things you should know today in East Providence.
- Today should be partly sunny with a high of 86 degrees.
- East Providence Heritage Days are here! The 32nd Annual Heritage Festival begins today from 6 to 11 pm at the Pierce Athletic Complex with exhibits, food, rides, amusement and entertainment. Tonight's concert is Brother2Brother. The musical entertainment schedule is here.
- There is a Family Rosary at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Riverside at 7:30 pm.
- A job searching skills workshop is tonight from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Riverside Library.
- Weaver Library welcomes the community to join university students from the Middle East and North Africa for an open discussion tonight from 7 to 8 pm. The students, who are recruited by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in their home countries, seek to develop leadership skills and to expand their understanding of civil society as well as the democratic process
