You Pick: Best Place to Take Your Valentine in East Providence
Tell us your favorite local spot for a romantic meal.
Valentine's Day is Tuesday, and for many of us who are coupled up, it means we'll be enjoying a romantic dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants.
But which restaurant is best? Is it Madeira Restaurant on Warren Avenue, known for its exotic atmosphere? What about Ichigo Ichie, one of the area's best sushi venues? Or perhaps it's Davenport's Restaurant, Horton's Seafood, or even Gregg's, a Rhode Island staple known for it's deadly chocolate cake?
We want to hear your thoughts on which local restaurant is best for a special Valentine's night meal.
Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite restaurant off the list, note that in the comments as well.
We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the restaurant that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.
Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

That's not much of a list. We had a great dinner at Vine Yard East last week.

Hortons Is not even open today, so why have it on the list. You have excellent restaurants in this city and did not even put many of them on list. This is not a good poll. It would have been nice to see some more time spent on the list of restaurants.
Vine Yard East, Pinelli's, Avenue N, Luckys, Riveria, The New Sons of Italy (not sure of new name), etc.

Horrible list, East Providence is making a splash in the restaurant scene and you didn't mention the top 3 in Vine Yard East, Avenue N or Pinelli's. My vote is for Vine Yard East but please for us all amend the list.
