It is no secret that I love food and Avenue N has increased this love ten fold. This restaurant, nestled in Rumford Center next to Seven Stars is the perfect contemporary bistro to enlighten your taste buds. Owned by Rumford residents, Nick and Tracy Rabar, they have put together a menu that features both local and seasonal foods.

In a recent visit, I enjoyed the perfect Roasted Beet and Arugula Salad and the Margherita pizza. The salad is the perfect mixture of beets, pear and pistachios.  Topped with goat cheese and their homemade balsamic dressing the earthy and sweet notes leave you wanting more. Their pizza is perfect to share or bring home leftovers.  

On Sundays, Avenue N’s brunch is amazing. I strongly suggest the Lemon-Ricotta Donuts. These little donuts melt in your mouth and go great with the cream anglaise.   

Avenue N is a great community restaurant that shows off the historical elements of Rumford Center. It’s a great place connect with old friends and meet new ones.  My only request for this restaurant is for brunch all weekend long.
