Winter Fest(s) - This Saturday promises to be the Winterfest-iest Saturday this year in East Providence, with two Winterfests, one at Riverside Middle School and a city-sponsored event at the Senior Center:

RIVERSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL - The Riverside Middle School's annual Winterfest raffle returns this year at the school, 179 Forbes St., Riverside, 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. The event boasts food, local entertainment and crafts for sale.

SENIOR CENTER - The city's annual Winterfest brings The Senior Center complex at 610 Waterman Ave. alive with a winter-scape of uniquely decorated live Christmas trees. Last year they had about 112 trees decked out. Santa Claus will also make an appearance. This year's event starts at noon.
