Rabies Clinic, Haunted House, Contest of Strength, Hocus Pocus

Rabies Clinic - Does your pet need a rabies vaccination? Come to the "Almost Free" Rabies clinic on Saturday, 10 a.m. at the RISPCA in Riverside. 

Bring in 5 cans of non-perishable human food and we'll give your dog, cat or ferret a rabies vaccine! We will then donate all of the food we collect to local food banks.

Haunted House for RISPCA- This Friday night at the Briarwood Child Academy, in North Smithfield is a family friendly Haunted House, Costume Contest and Dance Party all to benefit the RISPCA. This fun filled event features hot cider, cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs and spooky fun! Dance party and fun for the little ones! Donations to the RISPCA- canned cat food, dry dog food, towels, collars and leashes- visit www.rispca for a wish list of items needed.

Strong Man Contest  - Think you're strong enough to enter a Strong Man Competition? 212 Health and Performance at 20 Newman Ave., Rumford, is holding theirs Nov. 2. Test your strength and help a great cause: seventy-five percent of all proceeds are being donated to the K-Rob Foundation. Call Kerry Taylor 401-383-5959.

Hocus Pocus at the Library - East Providence Public Libary at 40 Grove St. will show Hocus Pocus from 2-4 p.m. as part of the Halloween Movies Series. Contact: Meredith Bonds-Harmon 401-434-2453.
