The Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse, a Chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation, invites everyone to join us as we christen our new boat, the Lady Pomham, and enjoy a chicken barbecue on Saturday, August 9th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the East Providence Yacht Club, 9 Pier Road, East Providence (off Veterans' Memorial Parkway).
The menu prepared by Young's Caterers will include a quartered barbecue chicken, garden salad, potato salad, mini corn on the cob, rolls and butter, watermelon, dessert and beverages. There will also be special raffle prizes and packages.
Reservations are $15 per person. The deadline is August 1st. Call 401-433-2506 for reservations. Proceeds benefit the restoration of the Pomham Rocks Lighthouse.
