Raimondo Attends RI Community Food Bank's Holiday Meal Drive and Open House

General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo and her family recently paid a visit to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank’s Holiday Meal Drive and Open House where they dropped off their canned-food donations and enjoyed the various activities and vocal performances at the event.

“I am so appreciative of the services the Rhode Island Community Food Bank provides to our state,” said Raimondo. “The Holiday Meal Drive and Open House was a great way for families like mine to support the local food bank and celebrate the holidays with our fellow Rhode Islanders.”

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank’s mission is to distribute food and groceries to qualified programs that serve the hungry, while promoting long-term solutions to help solve the problem of hunger in Rhode Island.
