Research on First Graders’ Beliefs at Brown U.
We are looking for families with a first grader (born between 09/01/2006-08/31/2007, age 6 or 7) who can participate in our research.
We are interested in learning how children develop beliefs related to schooling and learning during the first grade after the initial entry to school.

- A child who attends a public school
- A child with parents who were born in the U.S.
- A child with parents who are Caucasian
We will interview your child while asking you to fill out a survey. It takes about 30-40 minutes).
