Here are five things you should know about today in East Providence:
- Partly cloudy, humid and with a slight chance of thunderstorms with a high temperature of 83 degrees
- The Atwater-Donnelly Trio performs on the lawn outside Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., at 6:30 pm; you will hear traditional American and Celtic folk songs, a capella pieces, old-time gospel songs, dance tunes, and original works
- The East Providence Senior Center offers a “chair exercise” program at 10:45 am to improve your joint mobility and muscle strength.
- Newman Congregational Church, 100 Newman Ave., hosts an AA meeting at 8 pm in the chapel.
- Centre Court Tennis Club, 55 Hospital Road, holds tennis drills and workouts each morning starting at 9 with the host Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers Club.
