With schools and many workplaces canceled for the day following Tuesday's snowstorm, adults and kids slept in a little before applying shovels and snowblowers to the snowfall.
Main streets were in good shape, with a little more care required on the back roads and side streets. On John Street, Chris Januario was clearing his driveway. "The main roads aren't too bad," he said, and side roads were clear but still a little slippery.
