Five Things for Friday: Something Spooky, Meditation Class & More

Here are some of the events happening around East Providence for Friday, October 26, 2012.

East Providence Weather: 

  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon.
  • Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Calm wind.

Meditation Class: Ann Marie Sabula RD and Ellen Frazier lead a weekly meditation group at the senior center each Friday at 11 am. Many studies have documented the health benefits of meditation and this program is free and open to all members. East Providence Senior Activity Center, 610 Waterman Ave, East Providence.

Something Spooky: Come to the East Providence Recreation Center for an evening full of treats, games, pumpkin decorating, face painting and lots of fun at the East Providence Parks & Recreation Department 's "Something Spooky" a Halloween party for East Providence youth ages pre-school to grade 3, Friday October 26, 2012 at the Recreation Center from 6-8pm.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Rec. Center, 100 Bullocks Point Ave. or at the Parks & Recreation main office at the Sr. Center, 610 Waterman Ave.
