• Monday: Showers. Patchy fog before noon, then Patchy fog after 1pm. High near 61. Windy, with a northeast wind 24 to 32 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Monday Night: Showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 56. Windy, with a southeast wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 17 to 22 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Schools Closed: The East Providence Public Schools are closed Monday because of Hurricane Sandy. The Bradley School in East Providence also announced that it will be closed on Monday.  You can follow all school and other closings on the RI Broadcasters Association Closures web page.
