Viewfinder: They Just Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To

A look at some of East Providence's oldest places.

East Providence happens to be home to some of the oldest places in the country. For example, did you know that if you were to drive down Massasoit Avenue you would pass the second oldest house in the state? Of course, in New England we're used to seeing 18th century homes during our daily commute, but rarely do we get to take a good look at these warriors of time. This week we're presenting just a few of the cities historical treasures, beginning with the John Hunt House, home of the East Providence Historical Society.
