Film Series Offers Portrait of Matisse

The Artists Loop film series at Weaver Library in East Providence continues today with a screening of “Matisse.”
The film by Didier Baussy offers a portrait of the famed artist, Henri Matisse. Local artist Margaret Owen will introduce the film and lead the audience in a brief discussion afterward.
It starts at 6:30 pm. This program is free and open to all. The library is located at 41 Grove Ave.
The Artists Loop is a monthly program for artists and art enthusiasts. Participants get together to share work and to talk about art. All are welcome.
