Summer Concert Series Continues Tonight at Riverside Park

Acoustic guitarist Mark Jennings to play at 6 pm in the bandshell at Rose Larisa Park.

The East Providence summer concert series continues tonight, July 25, in Rose Larisa Memorial Park at the end of Bullocks Point Avenue in Riverside. It starts at 6 pm. 

Mark Jennings, an acoustic guitarist, will perform. He is taking the place of the classic rock band, Kicking Hole, said Diane Sullivan, recreation coordinator for E.P.

The concert is one of six that were scheduled for this summer -- weather permitting. All the concerts run from 6 to 7:30 pm in the bandshell.

Bring your own chair and blanket to the park, which overlooks upper Narragansett Bay and the Crescent Park Carousel across the street. Expect to catch a summer breeze off the water.

  • Aug. 8 – Swinglane Orchestra (East Providence Heritage Days)
  • Aug. 15 – Pier 6 (donated performance)
