Vini Ames & Sh-Bop Bringing Golden Oldies to Riverside Park

The summer concert series continues Thursday evening in East Providence.

Vini Ames and Sh-Bop bring their golden oldies rock & roll show to East Providence on Thursday, Aug. 1.

The show is part of the summer concert series offered by the East Providence Parks and Recreation department. It starts at 6 pm in the bandshell in Rose Larisa Memorial Park in Riverside.

Since the band formed in 1992, it has paid tribute to the "Fabulous Fifties" and "Sensational Sixties" with great music, good humor and lots of audience participation, according to the group.
