BAY VIEW ACADEMY KICKS OFF THE CHRISTMAS SEASON WITH STYLE AND FUN FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY

East Providence, RI –  Bay View Academy is hosting A Very Bay View Christmas, November 15th – November 17th, to ring in the holiday season with song, dance, theatre and joy! From a petting zoo to photos with Santa Claus, to a high caliber performance of toe tapping holiday tunes and blessed Christmas favorites, this event has something for everyone to enjoy.

There will be four performances of A Very Bay View Christmas, a cabaret-style production with everything from sleigh rides to kick lines to the nativity scene. The show features 91 Bay View performers from fourth through twelfth grade.

In addition, Santa Claus and his elves will be here for one and a half hours before each performance. Enter Santa’s living room, tell him of Christmas wishes, and have a photo taken – just in time to use for Christmas cards.

Plus, Santa’s mailbox is waiting to be filled with the Christmas lists of hopeful boys and girls. Anyone who writes to Santa and drops it on the days of the show in Bay View’s “Santa Mail,” will get a letter from Santa in response. Be sure to include return addresses! Children should bring their letters when they attend the show, even if they plan to visit with Santa that day. The lines to see Santa can be long and a child might not have time to tell him their whole list of wishes, so a letter dropped in his mailbox is the best way to make sure he knows their hearts’ desires.

Warm up with a hot cocoa while seeing the animals at the petting zoo, right on Bay View’s campus. There will be goats, ducks, piglets and more!

You can also order your Christmas wreaths early! 22” fresh Balsam Fir wreaths will be on sale before every performance, each with a choice of ribbon for $20 (discounts apply to orders of three or more). A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bay View Academy. Wreaths will be delivered to Bay View in December, with pick up available on the afternoon of December 5th and the morning of December 6th. Wreaths are available for advance order on Bay View’s website at https://4661.thankyou4caring.org/christmas-wreaths

Tickets to A Very Bay View Christmas are $25. This includes the performance, meeting with Santa Claus and Santa Mail (photo additional), plus the petting zoo. To avoid the lines, tickets may be purchased online at Bay View’s ticketing website: events.bayviewacademy.org

They are also available at the door.

Petting zoo and Santa’s living room will open one and a half hours before each show. Show times are as follows:

Friday, November 15th at 7:00 PM (5:30 open for petting zoo/Santa)

Saturday, November 16th at 3:00 PM (1:30 open for petting zoo/Santa) and 7:00 PM (5:30 open for petting zoo/Santa)

Sunday, November 17th at 3:00 PM (1:30 open for petting zoo/Santa)
