Tickets for Chamber Dinner Going Fast

The East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner meeting is Nov. 28; guest speaker is Joe Andruzzi, former New England Patriots lineman.

Tickets are selling fast for the annual dinner meeting of the East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 28, according to Laura McNamara, executive director.

Only about 80 seats are left, she said. The deadline for the tickets is Nov. 9.

The guest speaker for the dinnr is Joe Andruzzi, former New England Patriots offensive guard and president and founder of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. The event will be held at Metacomet Country Club, 500 Veterans Parkway.

Dinner will start after a cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The dinner includes annual chamber awards, election of a board of directors, raffle drawings and a silent auction.

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for cancer patients and their families. The Mansfield, Mass., based organization is also a benefactor for pediatric brain cancer research.

Tickets are $75 per person for a Chamber member and guests; $125 for non-members. Sponsorship opportunities are available, according to the Chamber.

The dinner included the annual chamber awards, board of directors nominations, raffle drawings, and a silent auction.

Seating is limited. A sell-out is expected. Priority seating will be given to sponsors, chamber members and their guests.
