The list of places open today is short, but you can get a prescription, gasoline and coffee.

It’s Christmas Day. The list of stores open today is pretty short.

Of course, all government offices and the library are closed. And there is no mail service.

Don't fret, though. A few stores are open if you need a few last-minute supplies, such as batteries, or you're feeling a little under the weather with a cold.

You can also get a hot coffee or pastry if you don’t mind driving across the bridge to Warren or up to Providence. You can fill up your tank with gas for that trip to grandma's house.
