BlumShapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm based in New England with offices in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, announced the promotion of Jennifer DeOliveira from senior accountant to supervisor. DeOliveira will continue providing accounting support services and will take on a leadership role.
“Jennifer has demonstrated exceptional skill and work ethic, which have made her a tremendous asset to our company,” said Gregory Cabral, Providence Office Managing Partner at BlumShapiro. “We are thrilled to expand Jennifer’s role within the firm.”
A Certified Public Accountant, DeOliveira joined Sullivan and Company as a senior accountant in 2012 before its merger with BlumShapiro in early 2013. Prior to that, she worked as a revenue agent for the State of Rhode Island and also served as senior accountant at Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP.

DeOliveira holds a degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. She resides in East Providence.
