'Big Book Sale' at Weaver Library

The Friends of the East Providence Public Library is hosting a book sale at Weaver Library on Grove Avenue today and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday afternoon.

A "Big Book Sale" is being held today, Feb. 1, and through this weekend, Feb. 2-3, at the Weaver Library on Grove Avenue.

The book sale is sponsored by the Friends of the East Providence Public Library. Proceeds will benefit library programs, concerts, events and museum passes.

Thousands of books will be up for sale at prices that are hard to resist: hardcovers at 50 cents apiece, and paperbacks at 10 cents apiece of three for a quarter.

CDs, DVDs, VHS and audio tapes also will be up for sale for $1 each.

Hours of the sale are today and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. Yes, Sunday hours at the library are back.

Books will be sorted by category to make your shopping much easier. There will be plenty of childrens and young adult books, and a host of former best-sellers by favorite authors.
