Emergency Shelter to Open at High School

East Providence is opening an emergency shelter at the high school for people without heat.

East Providence is opening up an emergency shelter at 12 noon at the high school for people without heat, according to Fire Chief Oscar Elmasian.

The elderly and families with children are urged to take advantage of the shelter.
