K-Rob Family Fun Festival: June 8

Renowned BMX rider Kevin Robinson announces the date of the 3rd annual K-Rob Foundation Family Fun Festival at Crescent Park.

Set aside your electronic devices for a while on June 8 and come on out to the third annual K-Rob Foundation Family Fun Festival at Crescent Park.

Kevin Robinson, the East Providence native who became a BMX legend, made that pitch at last Tuesday's City Council meeting when he announced the date of this year's festival.

As in the past, Robinson said, there will be demonstrations, live music, rock climbing, and plenty of vendors. It will open at 9 m with ride and walk from Pierce Field to the Looff Carousel in the park.
