Here at East Providence Patch, it's our goal to give you a site that you can use in so many ways. More than just a place to read about what is happening around town, we want it to be a spot for you to share information of your own.
On Wednesday, March 28, our East Bay Patch editors will join forces to hold our first Patch Academy at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, 16 Cutler Street, #102, Warren, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We want to show you, our neighbors, how you can best utilize the site for your benefit. We'll teach you how to add events or announcements to the site for all to see; how to upload photos and videos from local events or hapenings; and introduce you to Local Voices, a special section where members of the community can write about the topics they care about most.
We also want to tell you more about Patch Places, our local business directory. If you're a small business owner, we'll help you claim your Patch Places listing (it's free!). Doing so will allow you to "own" your page on our site.
Patch Academy is free and open to everyone, so please stop by, talk with us and learn about all of the great ways that Patch can serve you and our community.
We look forward to seeing you on March 28.
