This Weekend: Eco-Depot, Fiddle 'n Folk Fest

Here are five things you should know heading into this first weekend of August in East Providence.

  1. Today should be mostly sunny with a high of 92 degrees, but the weekend may see some showers and thunderstorms.
  2. Don't forget to call today and make an appointment to drop off your household hazardous wastes (paints, oven cleanaer, pool chemicals, etc.) at the being held at the tomorrow, Aug. 4.
  3. A few big motorcycle rides are this weekend: The leaves from the Saturday, Aug. 4 at 10:30 am. The 20th Annual Motorcycle Mystery Ride to benefit the Impossible Dream is Sunday, starting from East Warren Rod & Gun Club in Warren and heading to the Bristol Elks Lodge in Bristol. Donation is $20 per person.  Registration begins at 9:30 am; ride leaves at noon.
  4. The 2nd Annual is Saturday at 1 pm at Haines Memorial State Park in Barrington.
  5. Saturday is a at the Audubon Society of RI's Environmental Education Center in Bristol, courtesy of the Citizens Bank Foundation.
