This Weekend: Stamp Out Hunger, Mother's Day

Here are five things you should know heading into this Mother's Day weekend in East Providence.

  1. The sun is coming, just in time for Mother's Day.  Today, Friday, we may see some showers but the weekend looks mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 70s.
  2. Tonight at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce in Warren, you can learn how to stamp out negative thoughts and to obtain the life you want.
  3. The annual food drive by the US Postal Service is this Saturday.  Leave out non-perishable food donations for your letter carrier.
  4. AYSO Youth Soccer registration for the fall season takes place this Saturday at Riverside Middle School.
  5. Admission is free for all Moms and Grandmoms Sunday at the Providence Children's Museum. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm; children can create colorful collages in Discovery Studio, the Museum’s hands-on art and science exploration space, from 10 am to 3 pm.
