Tuesday: School Committee Meets Tonight, Emergency Drill This Morning
Here are five things you should know today in and around East Providence.
- Today's weather should be mostly sunny with a high around 46 degrees, says the National Weather Service.
- If you see emergency vehicles and commotion over at Bradley Hospital this morning, don't be alarmed. Bradley, in cooperation with the East Providence police department, is holding an emergency drill this morning frm 9 am to noon.
- The East Providence School Committee meets tonight at 6:30 pm.
- There are two sessions of the Book Group at Weaver Library, one at 2 pm and one at 7 pm. Both sessions will discuss Yoko Ogawa's The Housekeeper and the Professor. New members are always welcome!
- There's a workshop on making holiday centerpieces, tonight from 7 to 9 pm at Caratunk Wildlife Refuge over in Seekonk. Pre-registration is required.
