Tuesday: Weaver House Ribbon Cutting
Here are five things you should know today in East Providence.
- Today's weather looks great: It should be sunny with a high of 46 degrees.
- The City hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the historical Weaver House at 31 Grove Avenue today at 10 a.m. Help celebrate the completion of this historic renovation; refreshments will be served and tours will be available. (This is rescheduled from a January date.)
- The Carousel Commission meets at 6 pm in City Hall and the East Providence City Council meets at 7:30 pm in City Hall.
- The Weaver Library Knit and Crochet group always welcomes new members; tonight they meet at 6 pm.
- Butler Hospital gives a presentation at 10:30 am at the Senior Center today: "What's New at Butler"; there's also a Blood Pressure Clinic at 10:30 am. New visitors are always welcome.
