Wednesday: The Brain and ADHD; Kent Heights Benefit at Ronzio

Here are five things you should know today in East Providence.

 

  1. Today will be sunny with a high near 53 degrees, says the National Weather Service.
  2. If you eat at Ronzio today, tell them you're there for Kent Heights School and a portion of your bill we be donated back to the school.
  3. Are you a senior who needs lab work done?  Today the East Side Clinic Lab is at the senior center in the morning from 8:30 am on; bring your doctor's orders.
  4. Tonight's meeting of the ADHD support network, ChADD, features author Randy Kulman, phD, on "How do the Executive Functions of the Brain effect ADHD?" The meeting is open and is at Bradley Hospital at 7 pm.
  5. The East Bay Chamber of Commerce in Warren hosts a session tonight on Getting the Most of Your College Tours. All are welcome (it's ideal for parents of 10th and 11th graders), but space is limited so reserve a spot.
