A "Taste of Spring" Raffle

The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will hold a "Taste of Spring" raffle at the Spring Book Sale at Weaver Library April 10 to 13. More than $500 in prizes will be offered. Included are gift certificates to Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant, Four Town Farm, Shaw's, and many East Providence restaurants, including Horton's Seafood, Lee's Restaurant, Miller's Roast Beef, Persy's Place, PieZoni's, Riviera Restaurant and Ronzio Pizza. Two Spring Baskets will feature books of tickets to Freeway Car Wash, Del's Lemonade, certificates for ice cream and frozen yogurt. A seasonal plant from Carousel of Flowers will also be part of the raffle. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased during the Spring Book Sale preview at Weaver Library April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. and from April 11 to 13 at the sale. The drawing will be held at the close of the book sale on April 13. You do not have to be present to win.
