Connected Living Discussion Groups at EPOCH (March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31)

EPOCH Senior Living on Blackstone Boulevard will host interactive computer presentations and discussion groups with Connected Living on Mondays in March at 1:30 p.m. Topics include: 

• Brazil (March 3) – In the spirit of Mardi Gras and Carnival, learn more about the mesmerizing culture and cuisine of Brazil’s coastal cities.  

• Women who Make a Difference (March 10) – In honor of National Women’s Month, salute women of yesterday and today who have made a significant impact on society. 

• St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) – Learn about the history and sociology of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, including what they look like in their native home of Eire.  

• Carol Burnett (March 24) – Enjoy a look back at the career of the comedic icon, including appearances on the Garry Moore Show, her turn on Broadway, the Carol Burnett Show and “specials” with Julie Andrews. 

• Hawaii (March 31) – “Travel” to the Hawaiian Islands and learn why they’re one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world.
