Delicious Sensations of Rightness

This fascinating exhibition of never-before-seen artwork by Nancy Elizabeth Prophet, RISD's first Black graduate, is hosted by the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities and Opera Providence. The exhibit will include photographs and memorabilia belonging to the internationally renowned sculptress as well as an incredible performance by the actress Sylvia Ann Soares, as Prophet, reading passages from the artist's diary during her stay in Paris in the 1920s.
