Dr. Steven Kane to discuss Ella Fitzgerald

PROVIDENCE—Dr. Steven Kane will discuss the life of performer Ella Fitzgerald at EPOCH Assisted Living on the East Side on Friday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. Known as “The First Lady of Song,” the “Queen of Jazz” and “Lady Ella,” Fitzgerald won 13 Grammy Awards over the course of her 59-year recording career. Kane is a psychotherapist and part-time professor of anthropology at the University of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College. This presentation is free and open to the public.
