Rhode Island Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston) and the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council (BVTC) of Rhode Island are pleased to jointly announce that the 2013 Annual Rhode Island Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival, presented by Schofield Printing, will be held on Saturday September 7, 2013 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. With an emphasis on competition, fun, and learning about Chinese culture, the event will make for an entertaining day for the entire family. The festival is FREE ADMISSION and open to the general public.

The event will consist of dragon boat races, a dumpling eating contest, traditional entertainment, food, music, exhibits, and many other exciting activities. First prize in the dumpling eating contest includes  one round-trip airline ticket from New York City to Taipei, Taiwan.
