What's Open, Closed on the Fourth?

Government offices are closed for Independence Day, but it's business as usual for many stores and restaurants.

Today is the Fourth of July, 2013.

The day is celebrated as a public holiday in East Providence. But not everybody is shutting down. For some businesses, in fact, it will be business as usual.

So, you’re in luck if your’re celebrating with a cookout? Or heading on down to Bristol for the parade? And you need some last-minute supplies.

Federal, state and city government offices are closed. There will be no mail delivery.
