Angelina (Calouro) Pacheco, 88: Worked at RI Hospital

Angelina (Calouro) Pacheco, 88, formerly of Fox Point Manor, died Saturday evening, Oct. 19, 2013 at the Evergreen House, according to Rebello Funeral Home.

She was the wife of the late Jose M. Pacheco.

Born March 3, 1925, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Jorginia (Costa) Calouro. She worked at the RI Hospital for 20 years before retiring.

She was the mother of two daughters Berta Pacheco of Cranston, Fernanda Corriea of Oakdale, CA, and four sons, Carlos Pacheco of Cranston, Armando Pacheco of Cranston, Jose Pacheco of Sao Miguel, Azores, and the late Arthur Pacheco. She leaves 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was also the grandmother of the late Domenic Pacheco.

Her funeral will begin Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with at Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8pm.
