Antonio D. Correia, of East Providence, died on Dec. 26, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. He was 88.
He was the husband of Maria Alice Correia. They were married for 67 years.

Born in Cedros Faial, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel D. and Francisca E. (Dutra) Correia. He was the youngest of 10 children.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Manuel D. Correia, and his wife, Fatima, of East Providence; a daughter, Mary Correia; a sister, Ana Goulart; three grandchildren, Lori Correia, Antonio J. Cordeiro III, and Nancy Cordeiro Martins; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, Logan, Elisa and Aliyah and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 9:30 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter St, East Providence at 11 am.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited.
