Armenia (Medeiros) DeMedeiros 77 of Ohio Avenue died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at Home and Hospice Care, according to Rebello Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 5, 1936 in Sao Miguel, Azores She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Virginia (Ferreira) Medeiros. The most important thing in her life was her family.
She leaves five children Mario Medeiros of Warwick, R.I., Michael Medeiros of East Providence, R.I., Antonio DeMedeiros of North Providence, R.I., Denise Sarmiento of Warwick, R.I., Alice Correia of Warwick, R.I., two sisters, Idolina Cardoso of Sao Miguel, Azores., Conceicao Amaral of East Providence, R.I., one Brother, Serafim Medeiros of Sao Miguel, Azores, nine grandchildren. Mrs. DeMedeiros was the sister of the late Zulmiro Medeiros and Gilda Teves.
Her Funeral was Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, R.I., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial was at Heaven Cemetery.
