Charles Bell, 88, Navy Veteran

Charles Bell, formerly of Shore Drive, Barrington, died peacefully on July 24, 2013 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence. He was 88.
He was the husband of the late Joan (Collery) Bell. Born in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late George Washington Bell and Elizabeth (Engish) Bell.
Bell was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He is survived by three sons; Peter Bell of Barrington, Christopher Bell and Timothy Bell, both of Fairview, PA, two daughters; Virginia Bell Sweeney of Boston, MA and Cynthia Bell Copper of Barrington and nine grandchildren. He was the father of the late Charles Gregory Bell.
A Memorial Service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home in Riverside, East Providence.
