Christiano T. Barbosa, 18, died Oct. 24, 2013 at RI Hospital, according to Rebello Funeral Home.
Born in Hyannis, MA, he was the beloved son of Christiano and Shannon Barbosa of East Providence.
His life was full of purpose, his soul exuding passion, his mind always in pursuit, and his heart overflowing with love. What remains with us is his spirit: beautiful, vibrant and still flowing with much life. Those who knew him will never forget him and those who did not will learn of him through our memories.
Christiano was a graduate of East Providence High School, Class of 2013, and was a student at Bryant University. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing volleyball, eating any type of food and making people laugh. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his siblings: Gabriella, Brian and Nathaniel Barbosa, all residing in East Providence. He leaves his grandparents: Susan McGuire, John McGuire, Antonio Monteiro and Paula Gayle, as well as his honorary grandparents, Alan and Wiss Andrews.
His funeral was held Monday at Faith Christian Center, 95 Sagamore Road, Seekonk, MA. Burial was at Rumford Cemetery.
