Dolores (Roderick) Braz, 82: Formerly of Parsons Avenue

Dolores (Roderick) Braz, 82, formerly of Parsons Ave., died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday night, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, according to Rebello Funeral Home. 

She was the wife of the late Albert Braz.

Born in New York, NY, on Oct. 16, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Senna and Lena Roderick.

She leaves her children, Caron Long and her husband Brock, of Acworth, GA, Rene Ash of East Providence, and Albert Braz Jr. and his wife Donna, of East Providence; her step-daughter, Linda Paul and her husband Joseph of Stratford, CT; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; and her brother, John Senna of Elks Grove, CA.

Her funeral will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Ave., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m.
