Dorothy M. (Brown) Bauer, 96

Dorothy M. (Brown) Bauer, of Riverside, East Providence, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren. She was 96.

She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Bauer. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edwin W. and Dora (Mahoney) Brown.

She was a member of Riverside Congregational Church, and enjoyed line dancing, exercising, bowling, and being a member of the Home Demonstration Club.

She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Bauer of Riverside and Russell Bauer of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Charles, George, and Edwin Brown, and Kay Bardell.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, from 10 to 11 am with a funeral service at 11 am in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside.
