Ellin K. Smith, 84

Ellin K. Smith, of East Providence, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital.  She was 84.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George V. and Frances H.(Mulvey) Smith.  She was an elementary school teacher for the East Providence School Department for thirty years before retiring.  

She leaves four nieces, two nephews and one sister in law. She was the sister of the late Jean and George Smith.  

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue, East Providence.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
